I liked the old logo, but it could be better. It lacked colour clarity on paper, looking out of place and not as strong as I wanted at its creation. 
The new logo is visible on both white and black surfaces, providing more options for print and digital display. It is also simpler and provide the full name of my freelance work. 
It is also a more easy on the eye design with friendlier, more geometric typography as opposed to the more sharp and dry previous logo. 
Above the clarity on both surfaces are shown on the mockups.
The logo is very resilient and will display well on a variety of items, to spread the brand awareness and to show my designs in a physical sense. Caps and a business card are some ways I will be trying to show this. 
T-shirts are another interesting way to display my brand, a messenger bag is also an option.
